Established in 1882 in Lahore, Panjab University is one of the oldest Universities in India. The university has 75 teaching and research departments and 15 centres/chairs for teaching and research at the main campus located at Chandigarh. It has 188 affiliated colleges spread over Punjab, Haryana, Himachal Pradesh, Chandigarh and Regional Centres at Muktsar, Ludhiana and Hoshiarpur.
With a vision to provide quality education to students, and to enable them to excel in the legal domain, University Institute of Laws (UIL), Panjab University Regional Centre (PURC), Ludhiana was established by the Panjab University, Chandigarh in July 2003.
About the Event
PU Regional Centre, Ludhiana is organising the Sh. G.K. Chatrath Memorial 4th National Legal and Cultural Fest ‘Astraea 2020’ on 24th and 25th March. Astraea is a legacy which began in 2017. It is a set of curated events comprising of some fresh and some traditional competitions.
Astraea is a curated event to bring students of different backgrounds to come together with a motive to present, prove and conduct something with common goals. It provides an excellent platform to showcase and develop a multifaceted personality to face the real world. It comprises of some fresh and traditional set of competitions carefully designed for the growth of the mind of a law student in particular
