Full Name of your Law School
Amity Law School Centre-II, Noida
Which semester are you in?
Faculty and Academics
Amity Law School Centre-II comprises of 2 floors of I block.
They have all year batches running from morning session till the evening session.
One batch has at least 5 classes in a day which can be either back to back or with breaks.
The time table system is totally on the discretion of the incharge.
Faculty is good though. They are cooperating, strict when required and lenient and friendly most of the time. They guide you on every step.
Course structure is exhaustive; you realize it when you study whole of the IPC, CrPC bare acts in one semester (they take your life :P)
Evaluation is according to the performance of the class but you score good when you study. You have cultural activities going on like every month or so and guest lectures too.
Student Culture and Activities
As mentioned above loads of cultural activities.
You have drama, music, dance, fashion club. Engage in sports activity then you have a 2 month sports festival called Sangathan.
Moot courts and Med-Ard, Debate competitions and also numerous activities while the Amity Youth Fest is on.
The nearest Metro station to campus in sector 125 is Noida Sector 18 or Botanical Garden. We have companies like HP and Dell surrounding the Campus.
You don’t have a very good place to hangout exactly attached to the campus but then you have a Maggie/Parantha Point you get non-veg there.
There are many PG’s near amity.
Well ALS-II has just got one pass out batch which got placed in nice companies or law firms.
Not too good maybe but they are not at all bad.
Lets just hope with the next year pass out batch we prosper more.
Administration and Fees
Fee to study in Amity is high.
Every semester you need an investment of about Rs 1 lakh cause you pay fees semester wise which increases yearly.
If you are a scholarship student then you can relax a bit.
The Administrative Department is really nice and understanding.
All in all I would like to say its a nice college but yes, you have other options too in your hand.
There are better colleges than Amity and till now you must have heard the sarcastic tone “Oh! you are going to Amity” but believe me as they think amity is it is not “not actually”.
You have rules here but yeah with too many rules there are rule-breakers as well.
Tell us about the infrastructure of your college
Amity Law School Centre-II is a part of the Amity University Noida Sector-125 Campus. The University Campus has many blocks namely from A to J.
The Law School is situated in I block.
The Campus is very well constructed and covers a huge area.
It provides numerous facilities like sports field, swimming pool, shooting area, yoga Centre, Gym, Arcadia (The indoor sports café).
So yes, if you area sports-freak or a fitness-freak you have got plenty of options.
There are lots of canteens and the H block along with the hostels is a food court you get Normal canteen/ mess food, dominoes, subway, bikanoes, Popcorns & more, Mama Mia and yes amity university has a restaurant names Wall Street inside the campus.
It’s totally a vegetarian campus. Go Foodies GO ! 😛
There is a huge library which is amazing except for the law students have a separate normal boring library.
Amity comes with many facilities inside the campus, you have Loreal Beauty Saloon (which is costly), Fruit Shop, Amul Counter, WH Smith Department Store, CCD, Teksons the book store but that doesn’t mean that it lacks in the knowledge part.
You get facilities along with responsibilities.
Best things about your law school
Best thing about my law school is it makes full efforts in giving knowledge to the students either by normal classes or guest lecture. T
hey try to make all things possible for the students.
Worst things about your law school
Bad thing is sometimes its not very systematic specially during exam times when you are already nervous and then you are unable to find out the room where you have to sit.
It has happened with me 3 times till now. 2 floors are sometimes not enough for so many students.
