University School of Law and Legal Studies, Delhi (USLLS)
GGS Indraprastha University, C-Block, Main Road, Sector 16 C, Dwarka, Delhi – 110078.
Good things about the University based on your personal experience
Being a Non-NLU, USLLS make sure that students are able to achieve their 100% capability and aren’t behind NLU students.
Recently, USLLS ranked 12th(NIRF ranking) in Law schools and soon it would be one of the top 10 law schools in India.
USLLS is a part of Indraprastha University.
The main campus has a great area and even has a swimming pool and a lot of basketball courts, amongst other facilities.
Bad things about the University based on your personal experience
The university doesn’t have a law honors degree but it’s expected that from 2022-23 batch students would be getting a honors degree too.
The university doesn’t have a well planned online teaching system.
The administration department is a bit slow in informing students about the latest updates.
The university doesn’t provide its students access to SCC or Manupatra.

Infrastructure is the main attraction of IP University’s main campus.
The campus is of 60 acres and has a very huge ground with basketball courts, badminton courts, swimming pool etc.
Though the classrooms and bathrooms are a bit old as it was made in the year 1998.

How are your peers?
My peers are really friendly and competitive in nature. And seniors are really helpful.
You can reach out to them for anything you want. All the students have different personalities which brings in a lot of diversity.
A lot of students are involved in debating, mooting, MUNs and various other co-curricular activities.

How are the placements in your college?
I am in my first year and I recently got an opportunity from the placement cell of our college to intern in with the Human Rights Law network.
And many more opportunities are available under various advocates and firms. The placement cell has it’s own website where we can track our internship’s application process.

What are some of the things you’d advise to a 1st year aspirant who enters your college?
I would advise the first year law students that if you don’t get the top 10 NLUs.
Then don’t loose hope USLLS is there for you.
And students would definitely feel that they are as competent as any NLU student.
