Law Column is an online platform for law students, lawyers and academicians to share their legal knowledge. It is an effort to connect members of the legal fraternity with each other. They encourage law students to excel in their career by recognizing their talent.

Call for Papers

Law Column is inviting articles, short notes, book reviews, case comments and other such submissions relating to the law for publishing on their website. Academicians, practitioners, researchers, students and others interested in the field of law may send their original and unpublished work to us.


There is no particular theme. Any submissions relating to the law are accepted.

Submission Guidelines

  • The title should be appropriate.
  • Submissions should be original and unpublished work of the authors.
  • Submissions having less than 1000 words will be rejected.
  • No plagiarism and should be free from grammatical, spelling and other errors.
  • Co authorship is allowed subjected to a maximum of two.
  • May follow any biform method of citation.
  • Submissions must be made in ‘.doc’ or ‘.docx’ format.
  • Submissions must be mailed to thelawcolumn[at] with subject “submission”.
  • Appropriate details of the authors like name, age, profession, contact details should be mentioned in the body of the mail. for students, name of the college and year of study should also be included.
  • No last date for submissions.
  • No publication fee.
  • One can make any number of submissions. There is no limit on a number of submissions for a person.

Word Limit

  1. Research paper: Upto 4000 words only.
  2. Article: 1000-2000 words
  3. Book reviews: 1500-2000 words
  4. Short Note & Case Comment: 1000 – 2000 words

Note: Submissions shall be sent to ”thelawcolumn[at]” with the subject- “submission”. Submissions are subjected to review and in violation of the above guidelines will be rejected.
