I had applied well in advance, there is a lot if internship request at Chambers of Kts Tulsi so one should apply at least 6 to 7 months prior if they don’t respond to the mail please follow up within few days.

Duration of Internship and timings

My internship period was for month I did my internship from 1st October- 31st October 2016

First impression, first day formalities, infrastructure

I was very excited so I reached office before the reporting time which was 9.30 for everyday, but hard luck it was a Saturday and the office staff comes late comparatively to the weekdays.

On the 1st day you have to summit your confirmation letters and on the 1st days itself the internship started with a kick-start and we interns were assigned different works.

Main tasks

Main task for interns were to attend the court hearings, extensive research and drafting and few things related to parliamentary work.

Interns are assigned work by all the associates and if lucky you may be delegated with the work from Tulsi Sir.

Intern will also be assigned moot problems and debate topic for which there is a cash prize and a certificate .

Work environment and people

Work environment is very dynamic at Tulsi sir’s office, majority of the associates and counsel are very friendly and they used to help for every question that you ask them.

But there are some associate who would humiliate and yell at you which at times gets very stressful. Still majority of the senior associate are very chill and helpful.

Best things

Best thing for all the intern was the privilege to share lunch table with Tulsi sir himself and at the lunch time only the moot court was conducted where Tulsi sir himself is the Judging you. The cash prize for moot court best speaker was Rs. 5000.

There is unlimited access to coffee and tea machine, when there is no work the interns can chill and talk in the conference room.

Bad things

The only bad thing would be the associates who would yell and abuse on your mistake and this happens all the interns you may even get threats and warning that your internship will be terminated and to withstand that one needs a lot of patience, cool mind.

Rs. 7,500 for one month

Biggest Lessons

One thing that anyone should learn from Tulsi sir is that how humble, calm and down to earth one person should be irrespective of anything that you are.

Any Other Thing

There are not many internship like these you will learn a lot of things and lesson for your life, its a place where you groom yourself, I would suggest that do try for such internships

I have my relatives in Delhi. So I did not take any PG. Even if you look for pg you can get one easily near the office and the office is well connected as it is walking distance from the Udyog Bhavan Metro Station Gate Number 2.

Office Timings

Office timing were from 9.30 am to 7-7.30 pm for girls and there was no out time for boys.

One can come late but he has to inform the internship coordinator for the same.

The earliest one can leave was 7 only if he has finished all his work and no other work is assigned to him.
