The Karnataka State Law University, Hubli in association with the Karnataka Higher Education Council, Bangalore is organizing a National Conference on Legal Education on 19th March 2014.

The Conference will be inaugurated by Hon’ble Mr. Justice M.N.Venkatachaliah former Chief Justice of India and the plenary sessions will be addressed by Prof. N.R.Madhava Menon, Founder Vice Chancellor of NLSIU, Bangalore and NUJS, Kolkata, Prof. R.Venkatarao Vice Chancellor NLSIU Bangalore and Prof. (Dr.) P. Ishwara Bhat Vice Chancellor NUJS Kolkata, Prof.S.G.Bhat, Former Vice Chancellor, NUALS, Kochi and Prof. Dr. Dilip Ukey, Former Vice Chancellor, Marathwada University and Head, Department of Law, University of Pune.

Invitation: Presentation of scholarly papers by learned faculty members, professionals and others in the field of Legal Education on any of the following themes.

1. Making legal education justice oriented.
2. Producing responsible law graduates.
3. Providing highly professionalized training with strong ethical element.
4. Preparing graduates to meet global challenges.
5. Revamping syllabus of different courses to make it more professional.

The papers should not exceed fifteen typed pages in times new roman, 12 fonts and double space. The papers should be emailed in word format to before 18th March 2014.
