The GH Raisoni Law School, Nagpur is organising its National Trial and Appellate Moot Court Competition for the year 2020.
This is an invitation for Kshan- 15th National Moot Court Competition, 2020, which is scheduled on 13th – 15th March 2020.
Kshan this time would be conducted on criminal law. The preliminary round and the quarters would be based on trial advocacy i.e the teams have to conduct trials, and for the semi-final round and final round it would be conducted on the basis of judgment passed in the preliminary round i.e. the way moot court competition works.
This allows teams to work on the problem in a manner that teaches them both areas of practice i.e criminal trials as well as appeals. The witnesses for the trial moot rounds shall be provided by the host institution Kshan has been receiving a remarkable response from Law teams across the country in its ongoing years.
Having successfully hosted 14 Competitions of such magnitude, we are looking forward to organize more exciting and enriching experience for all the teams participating in the event.

Criminal Trial and Appellate Moot
Only 24 teams would be allowed to participate on first come first basis, final 24 teams would be decided only after the team has completed all its formalities. The teams may begin their provisional registrations by sending their team and college details after which the final formalities can be completed
All law colleges/institutions/universities across the country recognized by the bar council of India are eligible to take part in the competition. All participants must be currently pursuing their bachelor’s degree in law, i.e. either 3 year or 5-year
The teams must register themselves by sending the soft copy of the registration form, DD/Receipts of payment made in online manner amounting Rs. 4500/- in the name of G.H. RAISONI LAW COLLEGE payable at NAGPUR, along with the year the student
is studying in and the University/ College they are going to represent along with the attestation of the HOD/Principal/Director or Vice-
Principal by and the hard copies by 22/02/2020.
The above shall be mailed on raisonilawschool[at]gmail.com having subject as REGISTRATION- KSHAN 2020.
Online registrations will be open from 27/01/2020. Participants will receive an acknowledgement cum approval as confirmation of their online registration & participation periodically after registration.
Registrations shall be confirmed only by the registration department of the college and shall be completed once the soft copies of the
Registration form along with the DD/Online Payment is received.
The form shall be sealed and stamped by the participating college. The hard copy of the registration form and the demand draft along with the travel details should reach the institution on or before 25/02/2020.
