We all have some ideas about what we would like to change. Sometimes the thing which holds us back is being unaware of the law which protects us. Thus, Ambika Hiranandani, an animal rights advocate, has partnered with Schbang for Good, the impact communications wing of Schbang, to launch a podcast series called “Know Your Rights” which will take you through the laws you need to know to deal with some of the challenging situations that life throws at us.
It is a ten-part series and the episodes will be on topics ranging from domestic violence, animal protection laws to drug consumption laws.
They plan on releasing one episode every two weeks.
The first episode helps us understand environmental protection laws ranging from what to do when you see a tree being cut to what action to take when you see dumping on mangroves. For this, they have invited Stalin Dayanand, who is the Director at Vanashakti and one of the leading voices in environmental protection today.
You could check out shorter clips that they have posted on Instagram (here and here).
