Katte, a Bangalore-based NGO, born out of the strong urge to ensure that the Indian society is transformed into an inclusive and equitable society that transcends differences of all kind.
We work at the cusp of people, policy, and politics to bridge the differences.
What we do
We aim to create an inclusive society by bridging gaps between various communities using available resources such as government and private schemes/programmes aimed at uplifting the disadvantaged group.
We strive to facilitate access to schemes, policies and opportunities to the disadvantaged and marginalized people so as to ensure a better future for them and this nation.
Currently, as part of PEN, India’s premier network of policy implementers, we are working on Project Eklavya, an Indus Action initiative, which aims to facilitate the effective implementation of Section 12(1) (c) of the Right to Education Act 2005 and ensures inclusive education.
What we want
We are looking for an individual who has the urge to impact as many lives as they can and contribute to their betterment.
We are looking for an individual who wants to lead a movement that would change lives, empower people and bridge the gaps between various members of our community.
