Application Process 

I sent the application of my internship along with my CV at [email protected]. Then I was told to write a short essay on any topic I feel like, after which i got selected.

Duration of internship and timings

June 01, 2017 – June 30, 2017.

Timings: 10:00 AM to 6:00 PM.

First impression, first day formalities, infrastructure

I was introduced to Mr. Siddhart Mohanty the program associate of the NGO, who described the work which I had to do and introduced me to other associates and the founder of the NGO Mr. Sujeet Kumar.

The infrastructure is good and I had many co-interns from fields other than law.

Main tasks

I was assigned with policy research on the government schemes of Minority communities. I had to make a brief document of different government schemes which included its objective, purpose and analysis.

At the end of the internship I had to present the work that I did.

Work environment and people

The work environment is healthy and positive. The seniors are friendly and will help you learn. The co-interns were from different educational fields which also gave me an opportunity to gain variety of knowledge.

Best things

The work they do is for a good social cause and I felt great for successfully contributing for the same.

Bad things

There were no bad things as such.



Biggest Lessons

Developed  interest on research work.

I stayed at my hostel, so accommodation was not an issue.
