About the College
Started in 1973, Dr B R Ambedkar Educational Society was inaugurated by the then Hon. President of India late Sri V. V. Giri. The vision behind the setting up of the group of institutions is deeply rooted in Kaka’s beliefs in Dr Bhim Rao Ambedkar’s ideologies.
About the Moot Competition
Dr BR Ambedkar Law College is organizing its Kaka G Venkat Swamy Memorial National Moot Court Competition 2022, to be held on July 1 & 2, 2022.
Eligibility
Students who are studying LLB (3-year or 5-year) course during the current academic year
Team Composition
- Each team shall comprise of two (2) members + (1) Researcher For Institution only one team is allowed to participate.
- Arguments shall be in English only.
- Member & Students of the Organiser are not allowed to participate in this event.
- Team should not disclose their identity in course of proceedings in the court rooms; such disclosure shall invite penalties including disqualification.
- Each team shall be provided with the team code by draw of lots.

The students must register on or before June 20, 2022 after making a payment of Rs. 1,000/-

Important Dates
- Last Date for Registration: June 20, 2022
- Last Date for Submission of Memorial: June 20, 2022
Ten marks per day will be reduced for the team submitting memorials after June 20, 2022.
Awards and Prizes
Attractive prizes for winning team runner-up, Best Mooter, and Best Memorial
Certificates will be provided to each participant, and the Winners shall be awarded a separate Certificate.
- Winners:Â Rs. 10,500/-Â
- Runner-Up Team: Rs.7,500/-
- Best mooter and best memorial: Rs. 5,000/- respectively
