How did you apply for the internship?
I directly went to the court and met him. I humbly requested that it would be a great opportunity for me if he would allow me to work under him.
He asked my details and then permitted me to join him.
First day formalities, infrastructure, first impression
I was asked to introduce myself and then he gave a brief detail about how the district court’s function.
The Chamber of the Government Pleader was a single-storey building.
Main Tasks
I had to prepare weekly reports of all the proceedings during the court.
I prepared the draft and wrote other documents through dictation.
Work Environment
The work environment was pleasant and every action was systematic as every session was conducted in an organized manner.
There was proper co-operation and every day I had an amazing new experience.
I saw how the court proceedings worked. How to draft petitions and file the responses of the petitions.
Good Things
The first thing is that I got the opportunity to work on how the basic district court’s function. I got introduced to the basic functionality of the Court.
Bad Things
There were no such bad things.

Details about accommodation and commute
I didn’t require any accommodation since it was my own home town.
Anything else?
My overall experience was good. I learned the basics of how a court system actually functions.
