JOB POST: Lawctopus is Hiring a Learning Manager [Remote Job]: Apply by April 20

While Lawctopus is the biggest website for law students and young lawyers, many law students have called us a friend, a mentor, or (some prophetically) an online law school.

Our focus has been on enriching a law student’s life, and as an extension of our commitment, we have recently launched our e-learning products. Do check our course on Legal Research and Writing here. Our free webinar on foreign LLMs had 1400 registrations and 700 attendees.

While Corona times have provided an impetus to online educations world-over, our commitment to legal education and careers is long-standing and straight from the heart. (It makes us uneasy to make a business case out of Corona and that is not our intention).

If you have at least 2-years of work experience, have a keen interested in online legal education and mentoring, and have a ‘get things done’ mindset, this position could be for you.

  1. These are testing times. But every black cloud will have a silver lining. The stay at home to stay safe has come to be accepted as an axiom. We know safety consists not only in being able to be alive but also, more importantly, being able to be up and doing, working for improvement of self and society. That brings us to the subject of continuous learning, and in these days of safe social distancing and locked down institutions, to learning remotely, to distance learning, and to externally assisted learning. Is this not, therefore, as good a time as any, for the universities, reputed law firms et al to re-introduce legal education through distance learning? 3-year LL.B. could be allowed to be prosecuted by aspiring students wishing to mould their careers as practising advocates. Active advocacy by reputed web networks such as yours will be a great help to break the mold and charter new vistas befitting the age and times we are currently living in.
