First day I was introduced to all the members of the office and I was given a case file to read and prepared a brief of it.

Main tasks

The main tasks there was to read files and prepare case briefs, drafting evidence on affidavit, written arguments, wills, notice, partnership deed and FIR, observing law firm procedures, attending court proceedings and to keep regular updates of cases dealt by the firm.

Work environment, people

Overall it was a friendly and healthy learning atmosphere and all the Associates there were ready to help me in any problem in which I got stuck.

Best things

The best thing about the firm was that there was lot to learn and I was treated as an associate and not as an intern.

Bad things

Nothing Bad

What did you do to chill? Co-interns, colleagues

There are lots of restaurants and small shops available.

Stipend/ month

No stipend.

But if you have performed your work very well then you will get a treat from Pallavi Mam.

Anything else you’d like to tell

If you want to achieve something, you should have a vision and the same should be clear.

Biggest lessons

I got the practical aspect of law. It was the wonderful place to learn the basis of Law Firm and Practical Knowledge of Law is more important than learning Laws.
