First impression, first day formalities, infrastructure
We went to Commission and got ourselves registered as interns in main office.
Classes are held for interns and we were sent to one such class where the Registrar of the State Commission was giving a lecture on Consumer laws.
The infrastructure of the building is average.
Main tasks
We had to read case files, discuss among ourselves and had classes on Consumer law. Our queries were addressed by office members. We also had to attend the court proceedings.
Work environment and people
Everyone was very helpful, however, there was no specific internship program designed for interns. It depends on the individual to learn as much as he could during the internship.
You will have to take the pain to ask for work. There were no deadlines given.
Best things
My co interns were fantastic. We had a lot of fun together. Moreover we also learnt a lot regarding Consumer Laws which is an upcoming field of law in the future.
Bad things
Not sufficient attention was paid to the interns. The infrastructure could be improved.
Stipend
No stipend
