SFLC.IN Software Freedom Law Center is a New Delhi based Non Profit organisation that provides pro-bono legal representation and other law-related services to protect and advance Free, Libre and Open Source Software (FLOSS) and to protect digital civil liberties of the citizens of India. SFLC.IN invites applications from students who are doing their graduation in Law for a winter internship programme.
Internships will be in the following fields:
1. Right to Privacy,
2. Freedom of speech and Expression ,Information Technology law, Internet and Telecom policy.
3. Intellectual Property Rights
Typical work includes legal research and writing, drafting research papers and litigation preparation.
Duration
This winter internship is generally for two months or longer, although splits may be possible in some cases.
The summer internship will start from January 1st, 2017.
Location
All interns will work from our New Delhi office. Internships are unpaid; students may seek funding from their school’s public interest program or other sponsorship arrangement.
