First impression, first day formalities, infrastructure
The HR department is headed by Aditi Karar, who is a very cordial though immensely rigid professional.
The senior lawyers are also very insightful and always proactive. The junior lawyers are of utmost support. There are no formalities as such.
Main tasks were attending the court proceedings and doing some research work.
A monthly moot court is also arranged which is a very interactive and knowledgeable activity.
Work environment and people
The work environment is generally steady in a way.
People go about doing their own work religiously.
The staff is really caring and makes the internship process quite calming .
The office is right next to the High Court and the area is easily accessible through all transport mediums.
The senior lawyers aid you in any way necessary and also help mold your perception of the legal world.
Like any other firm, one has to really ask for some productive work if they intend to learn something out of the internship experience.
No stipend is given to interns who haven’t completed their 3rd years.
Although food and beverages are offered regularly during office hours .
In this profession, the only one who can help you in the best way is you, yourself.
An internship experience cannot be gathered without passion towards the profession and making a few sacrifices and hard work.

I am a resident of the city I was interning at, so I commuted from my home.
The office timings stretched from 9.30 am to 6 pm.
The flexibility of such timings depended on the amount of work of the intern and also upon the willingness of the HR to allow you to leave the office premises.
