First impression, first day formalities, infrastructure
In the office, when I went there on the very first day, I met Anuroop Sir who was responsible there to deal and handle all the tasks related with the interns. I had a small interaction with him whereby he asked me some questions about me and my studies, my previous internships, etc. Thereafter, he gave me a file, I remember it was a civil suit, for reading and making brief of it.
Main tasks
The main tasks for the interns at this internship involved studying case files (mainly civil matters), finding relevant case laws, arranging and numbering the files.
Work environment and people
The working environment of this office can be described as friendly and amicable as all the associates along with other interns (there were 6 other) had a very nice behavior towards me and for each other. Anuroop Sir acted as a mentor and guide for all of us.
Best things
You learn how the suits are drafted, when to file what petition and how to find a case law which is in your favor (I mean research). Thus, that one month of internship here had helped me to learn a lot about the concepts of civil matters.
Bad things
I didn’t found anything bad while working at this law chamber.
