First impression, first day formalities, infrastructure

On the first day interns have to fill a form at reception and after that interns have to wait for the HR Manager.

HR will give brief about the rules and regulation of the firm and after that interns are offered department to choose as per there interest i.e Litigation team, Corporate team and IPR team.

However if required interns can take work from different department.

Main tasks

I worked with Corporate and Litigation team.

The main tasks were researching cases and making briefs on it. I was given work which included research on areas of Corporate law, Custom and Excise Duty.

I also drafted various Documents, Plaints, Complaints, Legal Notice and Affidavits.

Work environment and people

Outstanding work environment, all the Partner and Associates are very nice.

The associates are helpful and easy to approach.

Even the senior associates and partners are accessible when required.

Best things

The best thing about the firm was that there was lot to learn and meeting with Founding Partner of Singh & Associates, Manok K Singh Sir was memorable and extremely helpful.

I am from Delhi so accommodation was not a problem for me but you can find many pg’s available near the office.

Office Timings

Office timing was 9 am to 6 pm.
