Duration of internship and timings
July, 2013- August, 2013
First impression, first day formalities, infrastructure
The office is spacious and has separate cabins for all associates. Luckily, I could find a little space for myself as well, from where I worked.
I researches thoroughly on various aspects relating to civil law. I also assisted in the headnoting of several judgments for a prestigious law journal.
Despite the fact that I was just a 4th year student, I was also entrusted with the drafting of several matters, which I happily undertook.
Work environment and people
Work environment was great and the associates were very warm and helpful.
It was a great learning experience.
Interning with such a big name, and learning so much from him, is a lesson in itself.
I am a localite, so I did not need a pg or some other alternate accommodation.
I had to be in court from 10 till 4, to observe the court proceedings. In the evening I went to the office by 5:30 and worked till 8.
