Duration of internship and timings
I interned for a short period of 21 days since had to rush to Chennai for medical purposes.
The dates were 1st July to 22nd jury. the timings were 11 am onward to 6 pm.
First impression, first day formalities, infrastructure
My first day impression was pretty nice since I found out that I will be working with 2 lawyers from Delhi and it was exciting since I got to know that it will be all about Property Law, draftiing and analysing cases.
On the first day, I met Sir and Mam was out of station for work. It was a nice meeting and I was explained my work and asked to read articles. research and enhance my knowledge on Property Law, Registration Acr and it was all new for me!
The main tasks were making deeds- sale deeds, gift deeds, patta deeds and reading the documents produced to the firm by clients.
I was also given some typing works but then it was fine! got to read those cases.
Work environment and people
The work environment was a little boring and the people were intellect. it was all about new knowledge and hard work.
The best thing was the new knowledge which helped me in my next year.
The bad thing was that it was in my hometown. Thus things were pretty easy with me.
As per work if its a one month internship. my sudden rush left me with no courage to ask for a stipend :p
The biggest lesson was that law has many many many options and scope!
