First Impression, First Day Formalities, Infrastructure?

No formalities as such. I was introduced to all the associates and other employees of the firm. If you are hardworking and willing to work, you will like it at very first.

Main Tasks

The main tasks would be research, drafting and preparing case notes and court visits.

Ample opportunity is given to meet clients.

The best part is to accompany sir to hearings and keeping a track of his matters.

If you want to intern in a pure litigation law firm, then it is the place meant for you.

One gets a clear idea and experience of all day to day Court activities ranging from filing to clearing the defects or from checking the cause list to getting the copy of judgements.

They insure that you are practically efficient in doing a lawyers as well as clerk’s job to its best.

Work environment. People.

Work environment is very friendly. All are young and full of energy. I felt like between a bunch of friends (specially with the non-legal staff). Raghuwanshi Sir himself doesn’t believe in keeping gap between him and interns.

Everyone in firm is very friendly in nature. Everyone is available for free discussions anytime. One can approach anyone, any time with any difficulty and they will always be ready to help you out even with your silliest queries.

Best Things

The best thing was the first-hand experience of how Courts work. The firm deal with all matters includes civil, criminal, family and arbitration matters, that too in all Courts. Sir makes sure that everyone is enjoying the stay and learning as well. You will get ample opportunity to visit HC, city court, state consumer forum, family court etc. You can go with sir anywhere and in fact everywhere. Apart from Courts he takes interns to the counselling with Senior advocates.

Anything else you’d like to tell

Though it’s a small firm, but Raghuwanshi Sir is not a small hearted man. He throws parties daily to interns as well to staff. Apart from evening snacks which are an indispensable part of firm’s routine he often treats interns free heartedly. He often took us all to lunch.

Biggest Lessons

The reality checks that you get from how the courts function to how to deal with judges. Getting to know how procedural law works in the real world.

That a career in litigation is exceedingly difficult and involves years of hard work and manual labour. Also that there are not holidays in this profession. Specifically, getting the invaluable experience of talking to practicing advocates about the smallest of things. But if you want to be a self-made man than Raghuwanshi Sir is a great example.
