Duration of internship and timings
1st June – 1st July, 2015
First impression, first day formalities, infrastructure
On the first day the formalities of filling a form and submitting documents was done. And then we were told about the organisation and its initiatives.
I liked the campus. It had the chairman’s house, dormitory, mess and office in the campus itself.
The main tasks was to go on various field trips, research work and report making.
Work environment and people
People are very friendly, helping and encouraging.
They always gave new ideas on what to do and how to do during internship.
The field trips to RLEK’S primary schools are the best thing and fun and interaction with interns and villagers on these trips.
Also the view of Mussoori from RLEK’S terrace was beautiful.
You need to ask for work otherwise you may sit idle sometimes.
Stay happy with what you have. Learned this from villagers.
Any Other Thing
There were various other activities like rally, debates, presentations and lectures.
Overall a great internship experience.
