First impression. First day, formalities etc.

Even on the first day the environment was informal and very friendly. People are good but professional.

The work place promotes progressive work ethics.

Main tasks

I was allotted in the Litigation Department at Rajani, Singhania & Partners and main tasks entrusted on me during my internship were research work, drafting of petitions, replies related to the petitions, proof reading, drafting of Affidavit.

The assignments included typical litigation work. The litigation team is strong too.

Work environment, people

People at Rajani, Singhania and Partners are very nice and approachable. You get to learn a lot of things.

One has to ask to know about the work and assignments.

Also, if any doubt regarding any work, just simply go to the person who has allotted the work and ask them about it, they are always ready to help and explain the things again and again without any problem.

Partners are nice too to interact with and you can learn a great deal about the after law-school life.

Best things

Well, there is nothing bad at all, everything was fine, just fine.

There is tea & coffee available in plenty and the work environment is very friendly.

Bad things

I did not found anything bad in this firm.

They do not give any stipend

Anything else you’d like to tell; Biggest lessons

Be prepared to learn and work. It’s a difficult internship if you are a lazy person since the staff is highly active and give you heavy work and help.

They would be smiling yet would never make you feel inferior rather they will encourage you a lot to work.

The partners at Rajani, Singhania & Partners, if you interact with, are well versed with law and are very experienced people.
