Application Process with contact details
One can apply a month before internship in summers and winters.
In Summer, application can be filled in the month of May.
In Winter, application can be filled in the month of November.
In usual, PSHRC starts the internship program in the month of June in Summer and in the month of December or January in Winter.
These are the Required documents for Application:
1. Copy of 10th and 12th mark sheet .
2. Latest CV.
3. Reason for joining PSHRC.
4. Recommendation letter from the Head of Department.
5. College ID proof.
6. Passport size photograph.

Duration of internship and timings
June – July, 2015
First impression, first day formalities, infrastructure
There was usual introduction on first day and we met officers of PSHRC.
There were about 50 interns ,we had interactions and next day ,tasks were given.
Main tasks
We had to get both theoretical and practical knowledge.
Going through regulations of the commission and working of PSHRC
Also to have understanding of Protection of Human Rights Act,1993
Submitted a project report on “Status Quo of the Education System of Government Schools in Punjab”
Work environment and people
The work environment was quite good.
All the people were cooperative and no such restrictions were there.
It was fun working with PSHRC.
Best things
We got both practical and theoretical knowledge. It helped me a lot to boost up my confidence and enhance skills, i.e. communication and writing both.
Moreover, we got to meet new students from different colleges and build new contacts.Having interactions with officers was also a great thing.
I would definitely recommend internship at PSHRC.

Biggest Lessons
Since its a human rights commission,one gets to know about the realities of hard life.
There was something new to be learned everyday.
Meeting new people,facing new problems and hardships made me understand life better and appreciate.
Feel more fortunate to have got such a wonderful life and profession.

Accommodation
Since it is situated in Sector 34,which is also called as education hub as many coaching institutes are there.There is no problem of finding any PG,good PGs at reasonable prices are available.
Office Timings
Monday to Friday 9:30 am to 4 pm.
Discipline is required.
