The year, I interned at PSHRC i.e in 2013, the application process was as simple as mailing them your CV with a covering letter.
But, from this year (2016) the process has changed
i) You have to send them a mail telling them about your interest in interning at the commission before the deadline.,
ii) Documents required and selection criteria will be as follows:-
1. Latest CV
2. 10th marks sheet self attested
3. 12th marks sheet self attested
4. Reason for wanting to join as Intern in PSHRC:
Please attach a hand written write-up of 500 words
5. Recommendation letter from college HOD
6. College Id proof
You can send the above said documents along with scanned copy of Annexure I (copy enclosed) and write-up through mail at pshrc.chd@gmail.com for selection by the Commission (as per the mail received)

First impression, first day formalities, infrastructure
The first impression was great.
An orientation session took place, the respective act in respect to human rights was explained, the importance of human rights was explained.
The infrastructure isn’t very interesting but the work environment is great.
Main tasks
1. Debating
2. Case Reading
3. Visiting NGO’s
4. Visit of whole Commission
Work environment and people
The work environment was very professional but relaxed. People around were really cooperative and enthusiastic to learn.,

The team work was so good that it motivated me.
Our Trainer was amazingly Hard-working which pushed us even more to learn and work harder.
Any Other Thing
PSHRC’s internship is a very renowned one. It is a must do internship for all the students.
It is a great platform to learn and explore yoiur interests.
The debating activity boosts up the confidence of students.
