Office is small. There is one office secretary out there who handles all the work.
There were two batches each with team strength of 60 students.

We have to give application at least before 5 days from joining mentioning ur interest to apply for internship. We have to inform Mam through call too.
We had to report sharp at 10 am.
Everyday new & challenging task was given which was very interesting.
The task could be of outside city too. Both boys and girls enjoyed same rights and liberties. They were under same rules and regulations.
Duration in weeks, Timings
I have worked at PUCL, Jaipur for 3 weeks, 6 days a week.
Office timings are strict 10 in the morning till 8-9 p.m. depends on amount of work to be done.
To be Self accquired. No accomodation is provided. There are many P.G.’s around, so finding P.G. is an easy job. I have contacted the office secretary itself and he arranged the P.G. nearby.
First impression. First day, formalities etc.
First day of the work at PUCL, Jaipur was very nice, meeting different people and having interaction with them was indeed the best thing but it also included the various details about our internship and the strict timing which is to be followed.
No formalities as such. I was introduced personally by my supervisor to the entire students who applied for internship and briefly informed of my duties as well as an idea of what the organization stands for, the work they have been doing in the past all, we were given task on the very same day.
My first day was very busy. I worked from 10 am to 10 pm. I had to attend three conference and submit report & conclusion for the same. We had discussions for the same.
Recent topics like Social Orientation, Men Sexuality, Delhi Rape case , Homeless People & Night Shelter Survey were given and we had to submit report on the same after doing survey. We submitted report to Justice Verma Committee too on Delhi Rape Case.
We interacted with sex workers group discussed there problems & made report on the same too. We had to submit report of the topic given every evening.
Each day attendance was taken by ma’am & timing of entry & exist were noted.
Usually we were asked for research work which mostly included field work, had interaction with them and prepare the report and submit it to the General Secretary who was very hardworking and expected same from us.
Work environment & People around
Work Environment is very positive & encouraging. Its full of positive thoughts & energy.
People around are very helpful & motivating. There was quite friendly environment among internee.
The Contacts of Seceretary of PUCL, Kavita Srivastava are of a very high level. She is into huge networking.
They were very punctual & don’t entertain laziness.
Best thing was quality & quantity of work and most important was drafting of all the research work done.

What did you do to chill? Co-interns, colleagues
Motivating Videos were shown to us. In Lunch time co-interns & colleagues shared light moment, views and experiences.
I was accompanied with good co-interns so moving out every day was fun all around.
No Stipend is given.
Anything else you’d like to tell
I feel PUCL is perfect for work . Its well known for its work quality.
I have learned a lot of things like- making reports, doing survey, reports making according Collectorate Office, Municipal Corporation.
I learned about Team work, Co-operation & managing things according to situations.
