Applying for internship at PUCL is not hard at all, one has to mail at pucl.nat@gmail.com the reason you want to be an intern at PUCL and the duration of internship. That’s all!
Duration of internship and timings
June 2016
First impression, first day formalities, infrastructure
To be honest, first impression of PUCL was not nice as the office was not upto the mark as one would ex it to be. It was just confined to a room.
On our first day we just got ourselves registered and were made aware of all the tasks that we were supposed to do.
Main tasks
We visited many places like shelter homes, Jantar Mantar, NHRC, Consumer courts, etc. and were supposed to submit reports on the same.
We also had to write a research paper on any topic of our choice. Plus we attended seminars and workshops as suggested by them.
We also had to attend classes at the PUCL office where we all fellow interns would discuss about issues or about the laws etc.
These sessions were really helpful to learn new things.
Work environment and people
People, staff and the President of PUCL were really helpful, informative and supportive. They made learning fun.
Best things
The staff was always up to help interns, no matter what.
Bad things
We didn’t get any stipend.
Stipend
No stipend.
Biggest Lessons
Internships are necessary as they help you enhance you knowledge practically.
Any Other Thing
None
Overall Rating

Accommodation
I stayed at my relatives residence, so accommodations were not an issue for me.
Office Timings
Office timings were not an issue at all.
We usually got free by 5 pm. We could leave earlier if we’re done with our work.
