No clue my college arranged it.

Duration of internship and timings

10th December, 2013 – 5th January, 2014

First impression, first day formalities, infrastructure

No formalities but only daily attendance in Chief Prosecutor office. Saket District Court has best infrastructure among all District Courts.

Main tasks

I used to sit with Prosecutor in Fast Track Court. So he used to give me all case files to read and find any error or anomaly in facts. He made me listen to arguments and make notes.

Work environment and people

Work environment of Fast Track Court can never be good since all day we had to listen to rape cases. So many female victims will start crying in middle of making statements. Other fellow interns were friendly.

Best things

I learned how actually court functions from charge sheet to final conviction. All practical aspects of criminal litigation I learned.

Bad things

There was not too much to learn since Prosecutor was busy in preparing cases.

No stipend

Biggest Lessons

I learned that even Fast Track Court are not fast in disposing cases.
