First impression, first day formalities, infrastructure

First day the basic formalities are only to introduce with the type of work this NGO do and the brief about the people who are associated with this NGO. Basically any one can be a part of this organisations.

The infrastructure simple with a office and waiting room and a hall for discussion and talk about daily agendas.

No such formalities to be followed by this NGO but demands for dedication and punctuality.

Main tasks

To visit the victim’s of atrocities and to gather information faced by people in the society regarding government attitude and behaviour and survey.

Frequent seminars for social awareness and rallys for the same and interaction with executive bodies like police.

There are travel task also for which teams has to trave to near villages to gathe information and they assemblage of such information into document which is to be presented in government offices by the students only.

Work environment and people

The environment is healthy as the tasks are divided as per the actual situation and the teams are also allotted for the same. The gravity of task is the criteria to formulate a team of people. The people are supportive and mostly emphesize more on quality development such as team spirit and group work.

Best things

One gets to learn a lot about the social and political behavior of the society and the inter-relation of executive and society standing.

Understand about how executive functions and what are its role play.

The social responsibility of the people and the awareness of the rights given in the constitution of India are major agenda.

Spread the awareness of the government scheme’s relating to the benefit of depressed class and women and children is emphasized.

Work collaboration and additional knowledge is the ultimate results.

Bad things

Sometime overtime.

Interns have to work really hard as we only have to organize every seminars and press meets for particular discussion and everything is been delegated to the interns to deal with . But the best part is it develops sence of responsibility on individual basis.

Being an NGO, none.

Biggest Lessons

That, one has to learn to survive in any circumstances of life.

One such instance is, while we were on a trip for some information gathering in a village regarding atrocities on dalit women, accused followed us until took a halt at a police station in that village.

And later on we came to know about that he interrogated the driver of our taxi through the victim’s husband. So this was the trip which taught us how to deal with the situation and self dependence.

Any Other Thing
