The International Organization for Migration is looking for an intern to assist the Ombudsperson address employment- related problems of staff members for a period of 6 months.
Duties and Responsibility
Main duties and responsibilities of the successful intern include: case management, compilation of statistics on trends and activities identifying patterns or problem areas in the Organization’s policies and practices, research on related topics, training programmes for the Organization in prevention, dispute and conflict resolution.
Candidates with an advanced university degree in Behavioural Sciences, Conflict Resolution, Law, Social Sciences, Human Resources, with a background in current and emerging practices in mediation and dispute resolution.
Fluency in spoken and written English is required, while a working knowledge of French and/or Spanish is considered an asset.
Applicants are expected to prove their computer literacy, especially regarding database tools.
