About the Organisation
Qrius (formerly the Indian Economist) is an online publication platform to publish articles varying from economics, politics, culture, law, current affairs, business, etc.
Type of Work
The internship is intensive as you have to work with a variety of editors with different requirements. It is a three-month internship where at least you are expected to submit 3 high-quality articles in a month. A total of nine articles in three months.
Number of Interns Required
There is no such restriction as it is an online internship where you have to work from home. The purpose of this internship is to mainly keep track of what is happening around the world which very important for a lawyer.
Location
The company is based in Pune but there is no requirement of going to the office it is an online internship but the deadlines are strict for submission of articles so those have to be adhered too to avoid any trouble.
Who can apply?
Any person with any background can apply by emailing to work[at]qrius.com and attaching two sample write-ups. If the write-ups are up to the mark to their liking.
Stipend
There is no stipend. However, there is a great chance to network as the editors make sure that you take interviews for them if needed. This, in turn, helps to get subsequent internships in areas of interests. Qrius has great collaborations around the globe.
Duration of the Internship
The internship is for a period of 3 months minimum and can be extended further.
