Law Offices of Mithu Jain is the office of an Advocate on Record, Hon’ble Supreme Court of India specializing in civil, criminal & corporate litigation. The fora of practice include the Hon’ble Supreme Court of India, High Courts, Consumer Courts, Quasi-Judicial Tribunals like NCLT, NCLAT.

The other practice areas of the team are as follows:

Corporate Law: The team advises on regulatory compliance in India, preventive measures in commercial contracts, corporate-commercial disputes, and employment laws.

Immigration Law: The team advises on immigration laws in the USA, H-1B processes, family-based green card applications, student visas and extraordinary ability green cards offered by the US govt.

Family Law (Immigration): The team advises its clients and handles custody, divorce and maintenance cases of parties who have immigrated to the United States.

Responsibilities of the Intern

The office is looking for skilled, sincere, and ambitious interns to gain knowledge by dwelling into various legal matters providing vast exposure. Interns will be required to:

Work on a variety of cases, including civil, criminal and consumer dispute matters.
Visit and assist the team in different courts within the city including the Hon’ble Supreme Court of India, Hon’ble High Court of Delhi, the City Civil Courts, various Magistrate Courts as well as tribunals including National Consumer Disputes Redressal Commission, State Consumer Forums etc.
Prepare initial drafts of various pleadings to be filed before the courts.

Eligibility

Students in the 3^rd, 4^th, or 5^th year of the 5-year LL.B. course, or any year of the 3-year LL.B. course.
