The Alexis Centre for Human Rights (ACHR) is pleased to announce its 1st Research Internship Programme (2015) in the month of May- July 2015. Some of the guidelines for the Internship Programme are as follows:
a. The Internship is about 2 months (May 1, 2015 to July 1, 2015).
b. The Internship is open to all Indian and International Students pursuing Undergraduate Courses in the Recognized Universities or Colleges, National and International Academicians and Researchers from Deemed Universities and Organizations.
c. The Internship will be held Online.
No stipend will be provided to the candidates.
Contributors may write on any one of the themes listed below-:
a. Prisoner’s Rights and Juvenile Justice
b. Women and Child Rights
c. Rights of the Physically Disabled and the Mentally Challenged
Contributors are required to submit their Research Topic Preference in their applications along with their CV and a 500 word Article on the Research Topic.
15 Interns will be Selected (5 on each Research Topic).
Four assignments will be given to the interns every four weeks.
Last Date to apply for the Internship is April 25, 2015 and the Selected Interns will be informed by April 30, 2015.
The Best Intern on each Research Topic will be awarded with a Special Certificate, along with the Certificate of Completion of Internship. Furthermore, the article will be also be featured as a special blogpost on Life Beyond Numbers.
The Candidates who will do the internship for the whole duration will be getting a duly recognized certificate along with the Reference Letter. The certificate will be provided to only those candidates who will work for complete 8 weeks and send their assignments regularly.
The assignments and the research work submitted must be an original and the bona fide work of the candidates; plagiarism which includes the use of third-party ideas, without written permission or proper acknowledgment will result in automatic disqualification from the Internship Programme and subsequent publication on the ACHR Website.
The Interns by joining Internship Programme at ACHR agree to indemnify the organisers from and against all claims, suits and damages based on any claim of copyright infringement or plagiarism or any unauthorised use.
All assignments and research work shall be considered to be the property of the ACHR which reserves the right of publication of the same in any book, journal or in any other manner as it may deem appropriate, without providing any royalty or compensation.
