First day formalities included introduction to members and a brief intro of what we would be doing in this internship and a reminder of how we should be giving our best to the work being assigned to us.
To arrange files, to check cause list everyday, to maintain files and keep them updated, to maintain excel record of progress on all the cases.
As the months passed by we were supposed to accompany advocates of the firm with proceeding in high court as well as district courts and in last week of our internship we had to prepare case notes and brief of the complete file which was supposed to be represented in court the next day.
Work environment and people
Work environment was supportive and upto the mark. People there were really helpful and guiding to future in legal background.
Best thing about the firm was that in the single internship that I did there I was able to learn about things from the basic steps of how to manage a legal file to creating case briefs and replies.
They are strict about your work timings everything else was really good.
The exposure to High court, sessions court and District court was something unique and satisfying.
