1st June – 30th June
First impression, First day formalities
Welcomed by the reception, and formalities completed within half an hour’s time.
On my very first day, I had an interaction with one of the partners of the firm i.e. VK Singh sir.
Later, I introduced myself to the associates working there and was assigned to work under one of them.
The office space is good, and spacious.
I was allotted to research legal questions regarding statutory enactments and to find out appropriate case laws for the ongoing cases.
I also read a lot of case files especially regarding matters related to family law and ESI Act.
Furthermore, I prepared write ups on various legal issues and assisted the associates in legal drafting.
Work environment and people
The firm taught me how to work in a professional environment.
Vijay sir was very helpful throughout my internship at the firm. At our lunch break, we had quite a lot of interactive yet informative sessions with him. His insights were always enlightening.
Associates are also extremely friendly and encouraging. I used to ask them so many questions and each and every time they answered me patiently. They would go out of the way to explain a concept and the circumstances surrounding a case situation delicately.
I enjoyed the experience as a whole and considering it was my first legal internship, I learnt a lot.
If you have the thirst of knowledge in you and have the desire to learn, then, that is a place you should definitely consider going to.
