The office consists strength of around 45-50 associates which includes Advocates & CS also. The office was recently renovated so it’s quite beautiful and creates good working environment.
They have 4 conference rooms which were sometimes used by me also for doing the work of segregating of documents.
The Internship Experience was very good. I got a lot of work to do in my tenure of 2 months.
Procedure for application:
I have applied through a personal contact, but one can apply by sending their resumes also to the HR Department.
For Interns it’s 5 days a week, but when there is some urgent work they asks the interns to come on Saturdays also (but it happened rarely).
Office timings are quite flexible i.e. from 10 am to 6 pm but when there is work associates asks interns to stay back till 7-8.
I stay back up to 9 pm daily with my own will and due to which I got a lot of work to do from the associates which helps me in gaining exposure.
First day experience:
It was good as HR department personally introduced me with the every associate of the litigation team and after that a desk was allotted besides the associates of the litigation team and a laptop was also provided. I got research work only on my first day.
Main tasks were related to research work & Drafting. Research is most important thing in a law firm as I was assigned such researches which are very important and it took me several days to accomplish them.
I also got various different works which includes Drafting, Briefing, Segregating documents, attended various briefs/meetings, cross examination preparation, making newsletter etc. I took every possible work from the associates.
Work Environment/ People:
All the Associates and the partners are very friendly and always helps us out in doing things. The best researcher in the office is Mr. Shubham Palliwal and he is a very good friend also. If someone really want to gain exposure, then work under him.
Most interesting cases and researches given by Mr. Deeptanshu Jain as he also an associate and gives twisted researches which were very interesting.
Everyone in the office is very good and helping and partners are also helping in nature and you will get many chances in your tenure to work with them. I work mainly with the Litigation team and they were all having good nature.
Interns sits along with the associates as there is no separate room or something, everyone sits together. So we interact regularly.
There is a separate cafeteria in which everyone sits together & does their lunch.
If someone wants to learn then it’s the best place, I learned a lot of stuff from this office which increases my drafting skills and research skills also. There is Free coffee & other beverages also.
I live in Delhi, so no issues with accommodation but one could stay nearby Nehru Place as there are many PGs or they could stay in Laxmi Nagar.
