First impression, first day formalities, infrastructure
Everyone at the firm was very sweet and friendly on the very first day itself. Since it was my first internship I was a bit nervous but they made me feel at home. I felt very excited on reaching there.
I was introduced to everyone in the firm and made to have a look at every corner of the office. they explained to me about the working in the office and which person deals with what matters.
Infrastructure is descent. It covers two floors of a building. Everyone, including the interns were given proper work space. Office was located in one of the most posh areas of Bangalore and I had many options to visit nearby places during break.
I was mostly assigned the research work. However i was also encouraged to visit the court and help with the drafting work. I mainly dealt with civil cases including labour law, consumer protection and intellectual property matters which i found quite interesting.
Work environment and people
Everyone in the firm was very friendly. They always encouraged us to learn more and make the most out of this opportunity. Even the senior partners would share their experiences with us.
Work environment was very appreciating. I got to learn something new every day. I never felt home sick.
Everyone was very helpful and always patient with me.
I was always keen to work more in such environment.
The work environment was relaxed and it never felt like work.
The location, there were fun places to visit around.
I got to learn something new everyday.
The internship polished my research skills. I learnt to be precise.
I got to know more about the South Indian culture.
There was nothing bad about the firm as such but the one difficulty i encountered during the internship was that i was unable to understand the local language (kannad).
Nil. But the experience was priceless.
This internship has encouraged me to work much harder.
It has taken me a step further towards my career goals.
The exposure in itself is a lesson learnt.
Any Other Thing
I strongly recommend that if someone gets a chance to intern in this firm then one should not miss the opportunity.
I stayed with a family friend doing job in Bangalore.
