Application Process with contact details
I had got the internship through a contact.
Otherwise people do get it by applying there but only if they have a letter from their college.
Duration of Internship and timings
4 weeks. 1st November – 25th November.
First impression, first day formalities, infrastructure
The office is in the Kailash colony and it is a really very structured office, first day was a very easy one, one junior associate introduced us to the rules, timings and everything required for an intern to know.
Main tasks
As I was asked my area of interest which was corporate law, I had most of the work from the corporate team.
Although, some research work was also given in other areas of law but most of my work was only researching for the corporate team.
Work environment and people
The associates are really polite, they helped me in work whenever I was stuck. Although there were some associates who were a little rude.
Just one thing you need to know is that you have to be patient while dealing with the associates because sometimes they have a bad temper.
Best things
The best things were-
The location: you have the Kailash market very near where you have all the good food joints to enjoy during the break.
Relaxed timing: the timing was relaxed and you had a one hour break in which you could go out to eat anything.
Good things to learn.
Bad things
Only some associates were very rude for no reason, some of my co-interns were shouted at by one of the junior associate for a very minor reason.
Stipend
No stipend.
Biggest Lessons
You can get to learn a lot because the associates are really knowledgeable there, only you need to voluntarily go and ask for work.
Accommodation
There are a lot of Pgs in Greater Kailash.
Although I stayed at a relatives place.
Office Timings
The office timing was 10:00 – 6:00 but it’s okay if you reach by 10:30, you may stay beyond 6:00 if you have any work.
Saturdays are also working days only second Saturdays are off.
