I had stay with my cousin living at Noida. So, I didn’t face problem. However, there were many interns who were in PG near the office. One can get the PG at reasonable price at Lajpat Nagar or Jangpura only.
First impression. First day, formalities etc.
I was so excited to work as an intern under the chamber of KTS Tulsi Sir. As soon as I was introduced with the other interns and associates, I got to work on a task given to one of the intern. We jointly worked on it. He was from Amity Noida. There were no formalities.
Main tasks (in detail)
Interns were required to assists associates in different cases. Sometime, Tulsi sir himself assigned task to the interns. Usually, we made case research from SCC Online, Manupatra etc.
Interns are also required to report to the Supreme/High/District Court as per the cause list allotted. Interns attend the conferences with the client as well.
We were engaged in drafting, preparing notes on cases, preparing briefs on various current issues of national importance.
Work environment, people
All the associates at the chambers of Mr. KTS Tulsi were good except few. Work environment was good. Interns were expected to work and not to sit idle. If there were no works, we were directed to do clerical work as well.
Best things? (Nothing is all bad)
Best thing for me was sharing the table while lunch. Sir, used to have lunch together with all associates and interns. While on table, we used to have discussion on various issues related to law.
Bad things? (Nothing is all good)
Some of the Associates were so rude. They sometimes use abusive words in presence of female associates and interns.
What did you do to chill? Co-interns, colleagues
When there were no specific works we used to go the conference hall and chat with other interns on different topics. Unlimited coffee & tea (Hot & Cold) enables us to chill out.
