First impression, first day formalities, infrastructure
Well the office is well built in the basement of the residential house of senior advocate U K Chaudhary.
Impression of the office was good associate and intern work station is nicely set with PC set on each table.
There are separate cabins for the senior partners and managing partner and a separate lunch and leisure room.
Research work is given to each intern on daily basis and even drafting work is given frequently. Drafting of replies to applications or case briefs.
Work environment and people
All associates are friendly and supportive. The environment is as per the work done i.e. while working be serious else in the leisure time no one talks about work much.
You feel good as the associates aren’t bossy all day and will make you a part of their UKCA group even if you are there for a month.
Learnt a lot as they give real time work. Not just researching and normal court visits. The associates make sure that whatever they are assigning you will benefit you in making you knowledgeable.
Maybe timings could be a problem as they are hectic. And even working Saturdays 😛
I learnt a lot about company law and it helped me to plan my career well.
Strict timings. Monday to Saturday; 10:00 am to 7:00 pm.
