First impression, first day formalities, infrastructure

The first day of the internship was quite exciting.

I was briefed about the task that is to be undertaken during the internship period and was also introduced to all the other Employees under whom I would work.

There were no formalities to be fulfilled as such.

The Office was quite impressive and had enough space for interns to work.

It is situated at 19 & 21, Bhagwan Mahaveer Road, (Infantry Road) Bangalore.

Main tasks

Generally you are asked about your interest and based on that you are allotted work.

Initially they had given me field work where I had to cover daily news by going to various places in the city but gradually when I told them that I was interested in covering more sport events they shifted me to the sports section and was asked to cover the Football League which was ongoing then.

Work environment and people

The workplace is quite impressive and the responses of the employees towards interns makes the work environment quite comfortable.

Best things

The weather of Bangalore, fully air conditioned office, lunch with fellow interns, working environment, positive response of the employees.
