The law firm has two arms. The one is in Hauz Khas and the other one is in South Extension. I interned in the South Extension Office. Mr. Anupam Srivastava is the Founding Member of this Firm with the team of 4-5 associates.

Process of application

I got in through a source. You can apply by mailing your CV directly to Mr. Anupam Srivastava at

10:30 till 7:30pm (may stretch depending upon the work). Six days a week.

I am from Delhi so I stayed at my home. The office is in South Delhi and one can easily find a PG there. There are lots of PG’s in and around South ex. and the nearby areas of Defence Colony, Lajpat Nagar and Amar Colony.

First impression

After being introduces to all the associates and interns, I was shown my desk. The firm has a professional working environment.

We use to go High Court everyday and as a intern we observe the proceeding which is to be discussed in the office. Boss and all the associates and interns used to have lunch together (during lunch we used to chit chat with the associates). The office is quite lenient.

Since the firm specialized in civil law, mostly research work was given on Code of Civil Procedure, Real
Estate, Transfer of Property, Negotiable Instrument Act.

I was given opportunity to work in all the fields. I undertook drafting of legal notices, evidences, complaints and conducted research on various legal aspects.

The work environment was good. All the associates and staff was very helpful. The younger associates were also very friendly and supportive.

Best things

Best thing in my internship was that I always occupied with the work, which makes me feel responsible. There is wide collection of books on various subjects. And the most important is you can have any number of tea and coffee in the office. 😀

Nothing is bad about this firm.

In and around

The office is near the main market so we have plenty of things to eat. McD and Dominos are our all time favourite. If you are tired of working and wanna chill you can use youtube and facebook (they are not blocked) 😀

INR 5000/- Stipend/ month

Other things

Read the basic provision of CPC before joining the office. This was very enjoyable and educative internship. I totally recommend this place.
