Timing- 10 am – 6 pm
FIRST DAY FORMALITIES, FIRST IMPRESSION
I was asked to report at the office at 10 am.
I was asked to sit at the conference room along with a co-intern.
Mr. Sandip Agarwal came at around 11 am.
He called me in his office and asked me about my area of interest, the law subjects that I have studied in college.
He gave me work on the basis of my knowledge and area of interest.
The interns are given a separate room to sit and do their work.
Interns are expected to carry their laptops to the office, but if you don’t have a laptop they will ask you to sit in the accounts room where you will get access to a computer.
There are three offices in the same building.
Work included research and drafting work. I was asked to research on various topics such as Code of Civil Procedure, Negotiable Instrument Act, SEBI, SARFAESI Act and Companies Act.
I was also asked to draft legal notices, make list of dates and annexures.
Interns were also sent to Calcutta High Court, Citi Civil Court and DRT with the advocates to observe court proceedings.
All associates are very nice, helpful and approachable.
You can ask for work from anyone.

There were few days when there was very little work.
