Duration of internship and timings

1 month and 9 AM – 3 PM

First impression, first day formalities, infrastructure

It was a very humble office with really good collection of books.

I met up with the associates and we went to the high court and the juniors took time to explain all the proceedings.

Main tasks

I assisted in cases regarding consumer disputes and observed case proceedings in The High Court.

Did a lot of research on family and land disputes.

Work environment and people

Extremely friendly and guided me though everything patiently.

As I was a beginner they took extra time to help me through.

Best things

The people.

The office is in Adyar,so after office chilling out at Bessie was the best thing to do

Bad things

Nothing really bad.


No stipend

Biggest Lessons  

Learning to research extensively and also learnt the art of framing arguments.
