June 29, 2015 to July 26, 2015 and June 10, 2014 to July 06, 2014.
First impression, first day formalities, infrastructure
The office is situated in the heart of the city in CP (Barakhamba).
They have a decent office space.
The first day usually passes with getting the personal laptops configured to the office wi-fi.
You are also allotted a team with which you work for the internship duration. However, when you are free, you can easily approach the other teams as well.
I was working with the corporate team during both my internships.
So I worked majorly on Companies Law, Contract Law and a little bit of Income Tax.
They have separate teams for Indirect Tax and Direct Tax.
Corporate also has 3 teams in itself.
Work environment and people
The firm PDS Legal is like a huge family.
The associates, principal associate value our inputs and believe in educating and teaching the interns.
They try to ensure that no intern is free without any work the whole day.
Presentations during the internship on the area’s that you are working on so as to get a thorough conceptual knowledge on that issue. The team sits together and questions you on the basics and what you have understood.
It’s a great leaning experience.
Also they have lunch services wherein for Rs-20 they provide really good food.
There is no proper place for interns to sit. They usually sit in a conference room.
