Internship Experience @ Maheshwari & Co., Delhi: No Work, Bad Experience

Office: Safdarjung Enclave, Delhi

Office timings are 10 A.M to 6 PM (Monday to Saturday).

They have a separate office (basement) for interns. For one whole week we were not given any work, also interns are not allowed to come to the main office until and unless any of the associates asks us to.

The workplace provided to the interns is not up to the mark with constant network and internet issues. In my experience, the associates are not at all helpful to the interns. I discontinued my internship after a week as there is no scope of learning.

All they would ask you to do is prepare on a topic for a debate and would assign each intern some topic for a presentation at the end of the internship period (activities we do in our colleges)!

It seemed that the people there don’t care about what their interns are up to. Most of the times the associates did not even revert back to our emails.

If you are planning to intern at Maheshwari & co., please go for some small firm instead, which does not take so many interns at a time!

There are hardly any lawyers in the firm. CS and CA people run the firm.

The only good thing was that I made many new friends.
