First-day Formalities and First Impression

On the first day, I was required to fill a form with general instructions and then I was given research work. The office environment is very formal and healthy. It is made sure that each and every doubt is cleared and interns are given an opportunity to speak their mind as well.

Main Tasks

Main tasks were related to research work which varied through different aspects of the law. Every opportunity was given to work in different fields of law such as IPR, Corporate law, family law, Prevention of Corruption Act, IPC, and Criminal law.

Work Environment

The work environment was formal and very friendly. The office has a policy of no work after office hours which made it easy and manageable to focus on work in the office. Associates made effort to make sure that we understood the issues in the cases. There were interactive sessions with the Managing Partner of the firm where Farm Law Bills were discussed. It was made sure that there is proper interaction between the interns and the associates and recent matters were discussed every now and then.

There are many PGs in Safdurjung Enclave. My PG was 10 Minutes walking from the office.
