Duration and Timings
I had interned there for a month (January).
The office hours are really comfortable 4 pm to 8 pm. Also, You will be made to visit Courts (District Court as well as High Court), timings of which generally are before 1:30 pm.
First-day impression, Infrastructure and formalities
The office is set up in the basement of Kushagra sir’s house, it was well furnished and beautifully set up, office had all the books, properly arranged, that you’ll need for your reference.
On the first day I met Kushagra sir. He briefed me about the firm and on the cases on which the firm was presently engaged. He asked me about my past internships and my area of interest.
On the first day I was given a topic related to my interest and then I was asked to go through it & brief it to sir in the end. Everyone in the office had separate space for work even the interns had their separate table assigned to them.
My main task was to do research on the cases on which the firm was dealing.
In the course of my internship i was asked to draft various documents.
I was also asked to file a PIL & RTI on topic related to the case.
All the research done was to be mailed at the firm’s ID at the end of the day so it could be cross checked by sir or ma’am.
I was free to put any of my suggestion or query related to any matter in front of ma’am and sir, also I was given a topic on which I have to submit a research paper and a presentation in the end of internship.
Work Environment and Co-workers
In past I have done many a internship but honestly saying this one was the BEST INTERNSHIP till now specially because of PURVI ma’am, she helped me with every problem I faced during internship, she guided me and provided me with more clarity of topics on which I was working.
Everyday we were provided with tea and sometimes home made snacks.
Kamal bhaiya and Pawan bhaiya who were the helpers in the office was kind and very helpful and they were the main reason why the office was well arranged and clean 24*7.
The office has a policy of not having more than 2 interns at a time which was so fruitful for me as I was under direct guidance of ma’am and sir and was lucky enough to learn a lot of things from them.
I am just a regular law student who has done a bunch of internships but I never felt like sharing my experience on Lawctopus, but this internship provided me with the best working environment that honestly I am very happy n excited to share my experience with everyone.
Editor’s note: Guys, you can share the ‘not-so-good’ internship experiences too; so that your peers across India can avoid them! 🙂
I was not provided with any stipend but something more precious and valuable than that,
on the last day of my internship for appreciating me and my ‘hard work’ (I guess), Purvi ma’am and sir gave me a warm farewell and made me cut a cake saying ‘All the best’.
This made me realized that if you’ll do hard work then there will always be someone present there to appreciate it.
If anyone is planning to do an internship in Jaipur, and if you are eager to learn something in your internship period you should definitely go for KP & associates.
Thank you Purvi ma’am and Kushagra sir for having me as an intern in your firm, I am highly obliged to work with you.
