First day Formalities, First Impression

I was introduced to every associate who welcomed me and a brief introduction was given regarding the work ethics at the firm. On the first day of my internship, HR gave me an undertaking form to sign.

Main Tasks

I was given an in depth insight of corporate work. My task at the firm was to help the associates with research in various fields of corporate law. I was asked to research on various notifications, circulars given by RBI, MCA, proofread legal news, draft loan and non- confidential agreements, summarize policies and minutes of companies regarding ongoing cases.

The associates of the firm are very co-operative. A brief explanation was given regarding my everyday task at the firm. All doubts and queries were answered. I would recommend any law student who wants to enhance knowledge in the corporate world to join this firm for an effective experience.

Work Environment

The environment at the firm is very good.  The firm has an amazing infrastructure. The associates were friendly and kind. It is a very professional firm with a proper code of conduct and etiquettes.

There was a learning session on the last working day at the firm (every week) which includes presentations and discussions on various legal topics. Learning sessions were conducted at the conference room of the firm. I was given a seat at the table which was really unexpected and the best part of my internship. It was an amazing learning experience.
